With a space adventure Sofia Airport Aviation School ended the school year

Is the time coming when we will be able to travel freely in space? Where could we go? Is Mars the planet we see as an orange star in the sky? These were some of the questions whose answers the children received in the last Aviation School class. Special guest lecturer was Tihomir Dimitrov, the founder of Space Academy. He told the students what knowledge they needed to become astronauts, to travel to the Moon and Mars, and to design their own missiles.

For two years already, Sofia Airport Aviation School volunteer initiative has been revealing the curious and immense world of aviation and cosmonautics. So far, the school has been attended by about 600 children from different schools in the country.
