An official ceremony was held at Sofia Airport to celebrate the launch of new Wizz Air’s year-round scheduled flights to Cologne, Bari, Naples, Geneva and Memmingen.

The takeoff of flight W6 4319 on Sofia – Geneva route was marked by a water salute. The crew was pleasantly surprised by the hosts with an impressive fruit bouquet, and the passengers – with branded souvenirs and candies.

The event was held with the support of the Bulgarian Association of Bartenders.

Sofia Airport and Wizz Air have been partners for more than 10 years already, and together with the new routes, the serviced direct air routes become 22.
