That is the title of the photography exhibition opened at Terminal 2 today. It is presented by the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute, whose chairman prof. Christo Pimpirev made a welcome speech at the event.
The exhibition accompanies the welcoming of the delegates participating in the XXXVIII Consultative Meeting of the Parties to the Antarctic Treaty hosted by Sofia. The forum is held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Prof. Pimpirev addressed the hosts on behalf of all his colleagues:
“I would like to express my gratitude to the management of Sofia Airport for providing that excellent space for the exhibition of those fine-art photographies, with which we welcome and see off our guests. Let us show what Bulgaria is doing at 13 thousand km from Sofia Airport”.
Until 10 July passengers and visitors to Sofia Airport will be able to see not only moments of the life in Antarctica, but also the life of Bulgarians in the Bulgarian base. The photos are an example of the art of photography and express strong emotions.
