Passengers at Sofia Airport were surprised with a flash mob

Bulgarian Folklore Group Dzhivgari performed an attractive shopp folk dance and invited passengers and guests to Sofia Airport to a big chain dance – horo. The flash mob took place at Terminal 2 at the time of arrival of flights from Milan, Munich and others.

The initiative came from “Tuk-Tam” Association of Bulgarians with Experience and Education Received Abroad and Sofia Airport, aiming to promote the upcoming seventh forum “Career in Bulgaria. Why not?” held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rosen Plevneliev.

It is considered to be the most successful forum in Bulgaria oriented towards assisting young Bulgarians with education and experience received outside the country to pursue a successful career and development at their native land. On 10 September 2014, at Inter Expo Center in Sofia, the young people will have the opportunity to meet the teams of more than 70 international and Bulgarian leading companies and make an informed choice about their professional and personal development.

Sofia Airport is a partner in the entire campaign for presenting and promoting the forum that started in the beginning in August. Banners are welcoming passengers at baggage reclaim area, and stickers and advertising cards are promoting the event in both terminals.

From 21 to 24 August flyers and pictures with the symbol of “Career in Bulgaria. Why not?” –a suitcase in the form of a geographic map of Bulgaria can be found in the halls for passengers and other guests to the airport.

Encouraging this initiative, Sofia Airport continued the tradition of supporting significant national and social causes.
