Sofia Airport with Children's Christmas Exhibition

Sofia Airport opens an exhibition with children's drawings from the competition "My Sofia Airport" which was organized on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the biggest Bulgarian international airport.

Children from all over the country participated in the contest, and the best drawings were awarded at a special ceremony in early November.

Children's works from the contest can be viewed in Terminal 1 Hall, after passing security check.

Santa Claus at Sofia Airport

Traditionally, this year again Santa Claus, beautiful Snow White and the dwarves landed at Sofia Airport to make children happy and give them many presents. With lots of joy and good mood, hundreds of impatient kids met the white-bearded old man and had the opportunity to talk with him and take pictures with him.

The beautifully decorated Terminal 2 was filled with many songs, games and magic that contributed to the festive atmosphere and reminded everyone of the upcoming holidays.

Cell phone charging stations already in use at Sofia Airport

Passengers at Sofia Airport can use for free the new cell phone charging stations. They are located after the security check at both terminals near the departure gates, and at Terminal 1 there is also one in the public zone of Departures hall.

Each station supports charging up to 8 smart devices simultaneously. The stations are placed at the areas where most passengers pass through, with the goal of allowing more people to take advantage of the new service.
