TRANSFER

If your journey continues on another flight after you land at Sofia Airport, please see the up-to-date flight information and follow the signage to your gate. If necessary, please refer to the transfer desk. Do not forget to reclaim your baggage unless it was checked-in earlier to your final destination.

If your departure terminal is different from your arrival terminal, you can use the free inter-terminal transport service after passport and customs control.

Ask your airline in advance about any details of transfer between an international and domestic flight.

In case Sofia Airport is not your final destination, but an intermediate stop-over point, we recommend lounges Pliska and Preslav in the transit area of Terminal 2, where you can spend your spare time between flights.

The comfort and facilities in our lounges are also available for tourist groups while waiting for the shuttle bus to their hotel.

Alternatively, in the transit area of Sofia Airport, the travel retail and duty free outlets - SA Buy/Bye Shop, souvenier, newspaper and magazine shops, cafes and snack bars are open between the first and the last flight for you. Also, there are coffee, soft drink, and sandwich machines, and other services.

We remind you that any liquids, aerosols, or gels, purchased from the outlets after passport control have to be sealed in a special envelope, which you is not allowed to open before arriving at your final destination.
